The multi-faceted career of Mira Betz is a testament to her passionate artistry and desire for continual growth. Active in theater, dance and the performing arts for 20 years, Mira Betz has become a 
sought after dancer, choreographer, costumer, and teacher. Nominated "Instructor of the year" by Zaghareet Magazine, Mira is a valued instuctor at prestigeous festivals and camps across the nation.
Mira began her training in Middle Eastern dance as a young teen studying with some of the most respected and knowledgeable teachers of our time, such as Katarina Burda, Jamila Salimpour, and Suhaila Salimpour. Mira has developed a solid foundation of contemporary, traditional, as well as ritualistic dance forms. In 1998 Mira went abroad to live and study the native dances ofMorocco. Mira Betz also has received her B.F.A. from the California College of Arts and Crafts and her dance background includes training in Salsa, Modern, Jazz, and Flamenco.
Mira continues to spread her experience, knowledge and love for dance through her captivating performance and engaging teaching style.

2 Hour General Open Workshop!
2 Hours on Friday - Open to all students! Friday night technique class can be purchased ala carte. Location is yet undecided. Prices: Super Early Bird: $35 by April 15

13 hour Intensive Workshop!
Includes the 2 hour Friday workshop PLUS 11 more hours for the rest of the weekend! 5 hours on Saturday and 6 hours on Sunday! With a performance at the Flying Monkey Arts on Saturday night at 8:00 pm. Prices for the workshop (this is for the full weekend, including Friday night):
Super Early Bird: $210 by April 15
$230 after April 15
$250 at the door (this will most likely not be available as the Mira workshop sold out by June 1st last year)
One day pricing is not available for the intensive workshop due to the content, flow and space. We are limiting the Intensive Workshop to 30 students. This workshop will be held at the Nomadic Tapestry studio.
